What is the difference between 916 (22K) gold and 999 (24K) gold?

916 (22K) gold contains approximately 91.6% pure gold, whereas 999 (24K) gold is about 99.9% pure. As the purest, softest, and most malleable form of gold, 999 gold is easy to work with but is prone to scratches and dents. To enhance its durability, 999 gold is often alloyed with other metals. The term "916" signifies that the piece consists of 91.6% pure gold, with the remaining 8.4% made up of metals such as copper, silver, or zinc.

Is Sri Berlian jewellery hypoallergenic?

Yes, 999 gold is hypoallergenic because it's pure gold and doesn't contain other metals that could cause an allergic reaction. 916 gold is also hypoallergenic because of its high purity level.
